Acoustic panel Alu Brushed Steeltone is a brushed aluminum panel in steel tone. The surface has subtle, vertical brush lines that give an elegant and modern look. The steel tone combined with the brushed texture creates a timeless and sophisticated finish, ideal for both commercial and private interior design projects.

Our pre-finished acoustic panels are manufactured by hand in Helsingborg and consist of the finest materials on the market, carefully selected with sustainability in focus.

The acoustic panels are manufactured on a moisture-resistant, premium MDF that can withstand up to 65% relative humidity, making them excellent for use outside the shower zone in private bathroom environments.

Acoustics & performance

The panels are developed to improve room acoustics by reducing reverberation and creating a more pleasant sound environment.

The acoustic performance is tested and verified at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden).

  • Sound absorption class D when mounted directly against a wall or ceiling
  • Sound absorption class A when mounted on 45 mm frames with insulation behind

Recommended for homes, offices, meeting rooms and other environments where both aesthetics and acoustic comfort are important.

Sustainability

Our acoustic panels are manufactured with carefully selected materials and a focus on long life and responsible production.

  • Made from wood in the MDF from sustainable forestry
  • Acoustic felt made of recycled plastic, produced in Sweden
  • The panels are manufactured in Sweden.

Metal acoustic panels for sophisticated and modern interiors

Metal acoustic panels combine architectural sharpness with effective sound absorption, creating environments where aesthetics, light and function work together. The metallic surface adds an exclusive, contemporary expression and creates visual depth through natural reflections that change with the room's light and lighting.

The surface texture and finish capture and reflect light in a vibrant way, giving the walls movement, contrast and a distinct spatial presence. The result is an interior with both visual weight and a sophisticated play of light, where the panels function as an architectural design element rather than a mere acoustic solution.

Frequently asked questions about metal acoustic panels

What is a metal acoustic panel and what is it used for?

A metal acoustic panel is a sound-absorbing wall or ceiling panel that combines exclusive metal surfaces with acoustic function. It is used to reduce reverberation and create a more balanced sound environment in environments where design and materiality are central.

How do metal acoustic panels differ from wooden panels?

Metal acoustic panels have a more graphic and contemporary expression where the surface plays a greater visual role. Metal surfaces such as aluminum, copper and brass provide reflection, depth and character, while the underlying construction is responsible for sound absorption.

How do the acoustics work in a panel with a metal surface?

The sound-absorbing function lies in the panel's construction behind the metal surface. The metal primarily affects the visual expression, while the acoustic structure is developed to reduce reverberation and create a more pleasant sound environment. The panels' acoustic performance is tested at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) , which ensures documented and verified sound absorption.

Is each metal acoustic panel unique?

Yes, the panels have hand-finished metal surfaces in aluminum, copper or brass. Natural variations in texture, tone and finish make each panel unique in its expression.

In which environments are metal acoustic panels best suited?

Metal acoustic panels are suitable for both private homes and public environments . They are used in living rooms, dining areas and home offices where you want to combine a modern, characterful expression with improved acoustics, but are also common in architectural interiors such as offices, hotels, restaurants and other public environments.

How do you install metal acoustic panels?

Metal acoustic panels are installed in the same way as wooden acoustic panels , either directly to the wall or to studs depending on the substrate and desired result. Installation is usually done with screws or adhesives according to the recommended installation method. Correct installation ensures both optimal acoustic performance and a smooth, architectural visual expression.

Can you saw metal acoustic panels?

Yes, metal acoustic panels can be cut if necessary. The panels can be cut with a circular saw or plunge-cut saw and a new, fine-toothed saw blade, which gives a controlled and clean cut. For best results, the metal surface should be facing downwards when sawing, which reduces the risk of burrs and unevenness in the surface. With the right tool, blade and method, cutting works great.

Metal that shapes space and atmosphere

Metal acoustic panels offer great opportunities to shape rooms with a clear identity and atmosphere. In private environments, metal can add contrast and elegance – as a highlighted feature wall in the living room, a ceiling solution that catches the light or an accent in the hall and dining room. In combination with wood, stone and soft textiles, a balanced whole is created where the industrial meets the cozy.

In public and commercial environments, metal panels act as a powerful architectural statement. Hotels, restaurants, offices and lounges gain a distinct character where the surfaces contribute to both spatial experience and acoustic comfort. Light, shadows and reflections interact across the surface of the panels, giving the room depth, dynamism and an exclusive feel that changes throughout the day.
