This exclusive slate has an elegant earthy tone that is sometimes broken up with subtle touches of greenish hues, giving the stone a vibrant character.

In addition to its visual beauty, this mica slate offers a pleasant texture, where the sparkling surface from the mica particles creates a tactile experience that enhances the feeling of luxury and quality. The light plays beautifully across the surface, creating a dynamic effect that changes depending on the time of day and the direction of the light.

Each natural stone is unique with its own patterns, veins and colour variations. This means that no two panels are exactly alike, giving your interior an exclusive and personal expression.

Our stone acoustic panels are impregnated and manufactured by hand in Helsingborg and consist of the finest materials on the market, carefully selected with sustainability in focus.

The acoustic panels are made of moisture-resistant material, which makes them excellent for use in humid interior environments.

Acoustics & performance

The panels are developed to improve room acoustics by reducing reverberation and creating a more pleasant sound environment.

The acoustic performance is tested and verified at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden).

  • Sound absorption class D when mounted directly against a wall or ceiling
  • Sound absorption class A when mounted on 45 mm frames with insulation behind

Recommended for homes, offices, meeting rooms and other environments where both aesthetics and acoustic comfort are important.

Acoustic panels in stone for exclusive and balanced environments

Acoustic stone panels combine natural stone surfaces with effective sound absorption, creating rooms with both visual weight and pleasant acoustics. The massive, irregular stone structure helps to disperse sound waves in the room, while the acoustic felt absorbs reverberation and improves the sound environment.

Our stone acoustic panels are used in everything from private homes to hotels, restaurants, offices and public environments, where design, material feel and function must work together. Each panel is made with genuine natural stone, impregnated for increased durability and long life, providing an exclusive and timeless solution for modern interiors.

Frequently asked questions about stone acoustic panels

What is a stone acoustic panel and what is it used for?

An acoustic stone panel is a sound-absorbing wall or ceiling panel that combines real stone surfaces with acoustic function. It is used to reduce reverberation and improve the sound environment in rooms where both material feel, aesthetics and acoustics are important.

How do stone acoustic panels differ from wood panels?

Acoustic panels in stone have a more raw, natural and exclusive expression where each surface is characterized by the stone's unique structure and color shifts. Wood gives a warmer and softer expression, while stone adds weight, character and a clear architectural presence.

How do the acoustics work in a panel with a stone surface?

The sound-absorbing function lies in the panel's construction behind the stone layer, where the acoustic felt reduces reverberation. In addition, the stone's naturally asymmetrical and more massive structure helps to spread sound waves in multiple directions, which reduces concentrated reflections in the room. The combination of sound absorption and sound dispersion can in some environments provide an even more balanced sound image compared to panels with smoother surfaces, such as wood. The acoustic performance of the panels has been tested at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden).

Is each stone acoustic panel unique?

Yes, each panel has a thin layer of genuine natural stone , which means natural variations in structure, color and pattern. This gives each panel its own unique expression and a living surface that cannot be recreated industrially.

In which environments are stone acoustic panels best suited?

Acoustic stone panels are suitable for both private homes and public environments. They are used in living rooms, dining areas and home offices, but also in offices, hotels, restaurants and other architectural interiors where you want to combine improved acoustics with an exclusive natural material.

How do you install stone acoustic panels?

Acoustic stone panels are installed in the same way as wooden acoustic panels, either directly to the wall or to studs depending on the substrate. Installation is usually done with screws or glue according to the recommended method to ensure both acoustic function and a smooth visual result.

Can you saw acoustic stone panels?

Yes, acoustic stone panels can be cut if necessary. The panels can be cut with a circular saw or plunge-cut saw and a new, fine-toothed saw blade, which gives a controlled and clean cut. For best results, the stone surface should always be facing downwards when sawing, which reduces the risk of chipping in the stone surface. With the right tool, blade and method, cutting works great.

Natural stone with character and function

Our stone acoustic panels are made with genuine natural stone, with each surface bearing its own variation in texture, color and expression. No two panels are alike – a conscious choice that gives the room depth, authenticity and a timeless feel.

Behind the solid stone surface is a technically developed structure that improves acoustics by both diffusing and absorbing sound. The result is a balanced sound environment where aesthetics and function work together – in everything from private homes to hotels, offices and public environments with high demands on design and material quality.
