When HTK-Förvaltning in Falun decided to build new office premises, the vision was clear: to create an inviting, modern and professional environment where both employees and visitors would feel inspired and safe. The result is an elegant and well-thought-out office where every detail reflects the company's high ambitions – both in terms of function, design and quality.
In close dialogue with us at Wood On Wall, the choice fell on a combination between the Wood and Stone Collection: Acoustic Panel Walnut Oiled with dark brown felt and Design Panel Mica Slate – Forest Verde. The combination of the two materials gives a harmonious expression where the warmth of the wood meets the natural structure of the stone in a sophisticated way.
A holistic approach – from entrance to conference room
The project included the entire office, including four individual offices, the entrance, stairwell and conference room. Walnut acoustic panels created a warm, cozy feeling while contributing to better sound attenuation – an important factor in office environments where focus and conversation are at the center.
To add further character, HTK-Förvaltning chose to integrate our Stone Collection through design panels in Mica Slate – Forest Verde. The design panels in real stone add an exclusive and tactile surface that changes depending on the light and angle – which brings life to the rooms and gives each surface its own identity.
Design that is both visible and felt
The beautifully integrated materials interact with the furniture and lighting throughout the space. The wood panels contribute to a visual rhythm along the walls, while the stone panels create contrast and depth. In the stairwell, the panels give a warm impression in contrast with the black railings and soft textile floor.
This is a clear example of how the right choice of materials can elevate an entire office – not only visually, but also functionally. With natural materials and timeless design, HTK-Förvaltning has created an office where every surface feels well thought out, harmonious and professional.
