Installation – Sound absorption class D

To achieve sound absorption class D , the acoustic panel is mounted directly on the wall or ceiling. The panel is attached through the acoustic felt with custom mounting screws that are adapted to the substrate.

For a discreet result, it is recommended to use screws in a color that matches the acoustic felt so that the attachment is as hidden as possible.

Recommended number of screws

2400mm panels

  • 15 pcs wall mounting screws
  • 30 pcs mounting screws for roof

2780–3000 mm panels

  • 18 pcs wall mounting screws
  • 36 pcs mounting screws for roof

The screws are placed evenly across the panel through the acoustic felt to ensure stable mounting.

Installation – Sound absorption class A

To achieve sound absorption class A , which is the highest absorption class, the acoustic panel is mounted on a framework.

The framework is built with 45 mm studs and supplemented with 45 mm insulation behind the panels. This construction creates an air space behind the panel which significantly improves sound absorption.

Recommended rule distances

Wall: cc 600 mm

Roof: cc 300 mm

The panels are then mounted on the joists through the acoustic felt with mounting screws.
